Pageant Material is a branding and packaging project that reimagines the world of American beauty pageants after the crown. The project addresses the rigid, polished image traditionally associated with pageant culture;one that often feels outdated and overly controlled. Instead of perfection, it explores what happens when those expectations unravel.
The solution is a spirits brand that leans into that shift: glamorous but unhinged, still beautiful but a little messy. Through exaggerated visuals, bold typography, and satirical storytelling, Pageant Material reframes the pageant queen as something more complex; celebrating chaos, personality, and a kind of femininity that doesn’t ask for approval.
